A little about me

I’m Yves, an artist based between studio practice and the world of taste. I study at the Art Academy Münster in the class of Nicoline van Harskamp, and I’ve worked under Alexander Lieck, Setareh Shahbazi, and Ebbe Burg.

For me, art is more than an object. It is expression, but also luxury: something created, chosen, collected, and lived with. The laws of gravity would have been discovered sooner or later; the Mona Lisa would not. That difference matters. Art is the rare thing that cannot be replaced by progress, because it is made from individuality.

I see art in everything—fashion, interior design, architecture—three sister arts that shape how we move through life. Not everyone makes work of equal value, but everyone can carry an artist’s eye: the ability to decide what deserves attention.

My work lives where aesthetics meet status and where taste becomes a signature. I make pieces that feel intentional, clean, and personal— objects that don’t just fill a space, but define it. This website is my portfolio and my shop today, and the foundation of a lifestyle brand tomorrow: a world built around individuality, craft, and desire.
